I just got banned from the FiveSeven foums. That forum has major issues.
Lotta good guys seem to get the boot from there.
I believe that RP is referring to GT and not ARFCOM. Yes, I did get banned from GT. Reason? I advised a member that they could get better prices on AR mags than what they were paying. So I am basically guilty of trying to save a GT member money.
Eric (the owner of GT) has been after me to become a sponsor for awhile now. I have declined simply for the reason that he won’t allow sponsors to post threads about gear in the forums. :rolleyes: Figure that one out! If I am going to pay good money to sponsor a forum, I would like to at least show new products that come out from time to time.
If anyone is a GT member and miss my posts, drop eric an e-mail (eric@glocktalk.com).

After I learned about the GT/GM nexus, I won’t be back.
What you should have done was taken a bunch of proven sling designs, rip them off, claim they are better than the real deal and sell them for half the price.
Then you would have been a hero over there!
Yeah I have heard more than a few bad things about the guy who runs GT. Kind of like his interstate lottery (raffle give away’s). And other shit he has done to piss off the community.
At least it’s not a Chinese company.:eek:
Not only that but he defends a well known former FFL soon to be felon that was known to sell guns to some very bad people.
I’ve fallen pray to the “raffle” scheme twice, no more.
The place is like the wild west over there, but I have to admit the EE does have a decent amount of traffic.
Honestly, would you rather have me in your black rifle forum trying to bring the standard up or some village idiot telling everyone what DPMS is the best AR on the market??? I have also contributed to GT financially (twice) so it wasn’t like I was on there for free.
My only hope is that the XD and M&P grow to such popularity that no one visits GT any more.

Frankly, I don’t know how you had the patience to keep going back and forth with some of the people on GT. I’ve pretty much wrote that place off as lost cause…
I heard that comment a lot. While GT has about the most village idiots of just about any forum, there were a ton of new AR shooters in there that were just learning. I really liked the fact that I could shed some light on what AR manufacturers were good and which ones weren’t (catch’em early if you will).

No, it wasn’t a witch hunt. He was told repeatedly not to post sales information since there was a forum especially for that purpose and he just kept it up and Eric had no alternative since there were so many complaints from other dealers that had been warned not to advertise on that forum also…
Actually, what combat was referring to was the witch hunt on ARFCOM.
I know your wrong alot and this instance is no different. G&R Tactical has NEVER run a WTS ad in ANY of the technical forums.
Its kind of funny that you make yourself sound like a mod/staff on GT and that you know what REALLY went on between Eric and I.
Maybe you should stay in your lane.
