Why? This is something I made for myself. Im not pushing or selling them. Maybe they should step up and make them for us…
This may sound stupid but, you have displayed an item that neither company has out in the market place and neither company has an agreement with each other to produce such an item. Those that will see the item will assume that it is something that Oakley produces in conjunction with Magpul. Somebody will eventually contact either Magpul or Oakley inquiring about the glasses wanting a pair for themselves and asking where to get them because they cannot find a retailer who has them or has ever heard of them. They could investigate where these glasses came from and then either company could decide to pursue whatever actions.
Sounds rediculous but company lawyers can be real turds.
Pretty sure he can do what he wants as long as he doesn’t sell them. I’m not a lawyer, but if I wanted to have “Gerber” laser engraved on my Leatherman, I’m pretty sure they couldn’t do shit to me. I am also not educated on Registered Trade Mark laws either, but it seems like if someone has a Magpul sticker on a vehicle, you would have to be a complete douche bag to think Magpul teamed up with X-bran car company.
