Got my Tavor yesterday!!!

Got a good deal on it from Atlantic firearms 1699 on sale 1730 shipped. It is my first bullpup and it sure is badass!

Here it is sitting next to my Arsenal SGL31

Not a bullpup guy but this is what I’d choose if I went this route. Nice weapon

thanks! I never labeled myself a bullpup guy, or not. I knew that I always liked the way they looked and its a rifle and I like rifles LOL. It sure is different, but so far it is very nice, very ergonomic and points perfectly!

Congrets, Now give use an accuracy report using some mil-spec ammo M193.

Going off looks alone it screams bad ass! So yeah report back with your range report plz

I haven’t read up on them much. It looks like you are kinda stuck with the factory pistol grip & stock. However, I did hear that they are very ergonomic. A guy was shooting one at the last local match I was at but he was on a different squad so I didn’t get to see it run. Look forward to your range report.

Uh its a bullpup. How would you replace either?

Take the extra spring out of the trigger group…really improves the trigger

I think Geiselle announced a trigger for these.

Based on your experience with it so far, would you say a shorter individual would have more trouble with the nonadjustable length of pull?

would not do that. That spring helps the trigger reset. Most people who do this end up getting some problems with the trigger occasionally failing to reset.

Everyone complains about the trigger but it is not that bad at ALL. Is it heavy? yes, but it lightens up after a few hundred rounds. It’s short take up, smooth, and clean break. I actually kind of like it

Silly me. I didn’t realize that replaceable pistol grip back straps and replaceable butt pads were impossible from the engineering & mechanical side of a weapon. Sure am glad shoe manufactures see the need for different sizes.

Consider the source and move along. Not worth the time.

Congratulations, they are fun. Got mine two weeks ago. Happy with it so far.

Show me a Bullpup that has any of those featues. They ALL have some sort of molded grip beacuse the stock/PG needs to be rigid and strong similar to a LR chassis.

Look at the trigger (or handguard to be honest)… How would you replace that? Its all molded in. It would lose too much strength otherwise, unless they start adding metal reinfoircements which will add weight. This is a service rifle, backstraps would be the first thing to get lost or broken.

Have you even held the tavor? Same as any pup, the downfall to the design is the fixed LOP. With the current butt pad, it is already gettting close to unnsable for people with short arms and armor on. However you said “stock” not butt plate so that is why I had orgionaly questioned what you wrote.

With Armor and plates on, it can get tight if you are small. I would def try it before you buy it to make sure it works.

When they design these types of guns, they are made so 95%+ percentile of soldiers can use these weapons. Unless you are freakishly small, It ‘Should’ work.
