Got an Omega 8004 Juicer-Best Juicer Ever

I just got this juicer and have had others but this thing will chew up anything at all and spit out the best juice. I have been juicing Kale, Apples, Oranges, Broccoli, Ginger, Carrots, Celery, on and on and it does not tasted bad at all, just add Ginger and that will take the ‘bad’ taste away guaranteed.
I bought it from Amazon and as far as I can tell is the the highest rated juicer there, I highly recommend it. The only complaint you will hear from users is that the feed chute is too small but it is not a huge deal, just chop it smaller. I take beets with the greens still attached and juice every last part of it

I’ve got an omega Vert 350 HD. I think mine is better:smile:

Just kidding. You got a really nice one. That was not an option when I got mine, although mine is self feeding and faster. The first juice I had from that was so good I couldn’t believe it. I mainly juice carrot mixed with apple, and then some other stuff added to that, whatever I feel like.

People don’t realize, when you buy juice from the store, even if it says “fresh squeezed, not from concentrate”, it could have been stored for over a year. Once you taste the real stuff you won’t want the bottled ever again. Even the pulp is kind of silky, instead of gross.

Oh cool, I just went and checked out that model, it is really cool! I bet if I knew about it I would have considered it but I went off of the reviews and looked for the highest reviewed model and that was the 8004. Coupled with the fact that I was down to my last day of Amazon Prime trial which gave me free 2 day shipping I just pulled the trigger on the 8004 and so far so good. I am assuming all of the Omega’s are bad ass juicers. The small feed chute has not bugged me too much yet but if it does then I will put this one on the RV and buy the Vert. Thanks for the info, I mean it as the web is full of so much mis-information and what not I really did just have Amazon point me to the highest rated machine and clicked BUY.
So far my normal recipe is a Beet, apple, celery, orange, lemon, Brocolli stalk, carrots, Parsley, Kale, Ginger and some other stuff and I seriously do not need to hold my nose, the Ginger does a great job of overpowering the bad stuff

Don’t sweat it. You have an excellent juicer. I wouldn’t say the vert is better than what you have, just different. There are benefits to the 8004 design, including a longer warranty and slightly less pulpy/higher yield juice if i remember correctly.

Definitely, they each have their own specialty and so forth. My last juicer was one I bought from Costco and it is the centrifugal type, a Jack La Layne to be specific, and it has worked well but it just foams up the juice and will not eat leafy greens and that is what made me buy this new Omega.
On a side note, I remember mocking my Mom back in the late 80’s for buying a WheatGrass Juicer for about 250.00. At the time I just could not believe that someone would pay that much for a juicer…Well she is now in her mid 70’s and you would not be able to tell at all. Se has homes in Europe, Mexico and on both the Coast’s here and is constantly on the go, I mean that woman has more energy and does way more than your average “senior Citizen”. So as a Mom she did preach about the benefits of juicing and the whole nine yards and it took a while to sink in and I am now sold.
I really wish I started it all sooner!

dangit I might need to get me one of those!!

a friend who works at the healthfood store gave me a shot of a juice she was testing out. I think it was 80% ginger. I thought my head was gonna explode DAYUM! I actually felt a little light headed and got a bit of a rush after that shot. you dont need much ginger thats for SURE!

Yeah I just throw a little Ginger in there and it really does kill the taste of all the leafy stuff so it doesn’t taste like you are drinking celery or Kale. This is one of the quickest methods of getting all of those vitamins and minerals you are supposed to be consuming daily, and the Omega is really easy to clean up too!

I’m an Executive Chef in Atlanta and I have used the Champion juicer at home and at work for 15 yrs. Still works great.
Get the 3/4 hp commercial model and never look back…
