GoPicnic meal review

Picked up this meal at Walgreen’s on a whim.

Sorry, not good at posting pics yet. Anyway, comes in a small box with hummus in a small squeeze container, multigrain crackers, roasted soybeans, fruit & nut mix, and chocolate.

Crackers: good taste, crunchy, gluten free.
Hummus: very good flavor, plenty of garlic.
Soybeans: salted, crunchy-crispy, nice snack.
Fruit & nut mix: has cranberries and habenreo almonds. VERY good flavor.
Chocalate: nice square of decent dark chocolate that doesn’t suck all the moisture out of your mouth. A little bittersweet but good.

400 calories, good mix of protein and carbs. Gluten free, hippy healthy and filling for the size of the package. I like.

I have had a good number of these and I like them. I’ve always been a meat and taters kind of guy but when I was diagnosed with Celiac disease 3 years ago I had to broaden my horizon. A Gluten free diet may be a fad for some but a necesity for me and I am no hippie. These things are handy to pack around and they are better than the MREs that were handed to me years ago.
