My wife just made my day. For my redeployment present she bought me an MP-15ORC with an Eotech. She had the gunsmith install the ASAP plate and MIAD grip that was sitting in a box awaiting my return.
Kinda ends the debate on which brand to buy, https://www.m4carbine.net/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Now, just need some tips on getting the S-W up to top performance. I know nobody likes Eotechs and its not a Colt, so tips like “hold MIAD grip, replace SW lower, replace SW upper and and a T-1” are not really helpful, funny, but not helpful. Thanks Everyone

I own a couple Colts, a couple ArmaLites, a BCM, and an M&P-15A. It’s the M&P that rides on the seat next to me every work night (and she caught a burglar night before last!:D) Now take your wife to the range with you and shoot that new rifle.

My wife was afraid of guns and hated them until we started dating. After we got married she still didn’t want to shoot them but she tolerated them for me. She finally caved not too long ago and started shooting some with me and is going to get her CCW. If you can’t beat 'em…

Congrats on the new blaster. As was said, BUIS, H or H2, and lots of ammo! That’s all it needs!

my wife knows how much I like guns and never buys any thing for them. Every year for christmas and my BD I tell her what I want and she says she won’t buy me any gun stuff. Oh well maybe one of these day.

The night I met my girlfriend her first comment to me was “I hear you’re the guy to talk to about home defense guns.” I was hooked…
She just surprised me with a Leupold 4-12x40 Rifleman scope last month…she’s getting something special for Christmas :slight_smile:

I would add a Magpul MOE hand guard. This would look great with a folding metal BUIS on the gasblock.

Thanks everyone. Looks like my stocking may have Larue mount for the Eotech also. I told her was going to order one and she said no. Then started talking about the Larue fundraiser for Ft Hood. Wonder how she heard about that?
