I recently picked up a 6920 and I’d like to start doing some carbine classes. One thing that seems really awkward is having the sling mounted to the front site. I’d like to move it back near the handguard slip ring or rear of the handguard. I guess the other option would be a single point sling. I’m not interested in getting into rails just yet and for this rifle maybe not ever. I think I’ve seen a nylon strap with a sling mount that can be placed at the slip wring. Anyone know what I’m talking about? Where to get it? Does it work?
