If you’re stuck on Safariland, I would suggest the open top design for CCW, and the snap model if you are planning on open carry. (On a side note, I would only recommend either of those designs if you plan to carry behind your hip; around the 4:00 to 5:30 position. Otherwise, you will probably want a holster with less forwrd cant, so the angle of your wrist isn’t as bent - read: weak - during the draw)
If Kydex is an option, Raven Concealment is an excellent choice, as others have mentioned. They are well designed, versatile holsters.
Galco is another option if you prefer a leather holster without waiting for a custom holster (although I personally feel that their leather is too soft for what they cost). Kramer Gunleather is a good option if they have a holster for your pistol in stock.
If you don’t mind waiting for custom leather, the sky’s the limit. Matt Delfatti, Milt Sparks, Alessi Gunleather, Nossar Gunleather, K&D holsters, and Bluegrass Holsters are just a few of the companies that make good quality products as long as you can stand to wait.
For leather OWB I’d highly recommend the Galco Concealable. I have one for my Sig p226r and it’s a great holster. Depending on what clothes I wear I can hide it pretty well.
I also recently used this holster in an LMS Defense Pistol 1 class and it preformed very well.
I was going to recommend the same thing. I just ordered one that allows the light to be attached, they said they were about 40 days out and wouldn’t charge me until it shipped.
Blade-Tech if you want a do everything holster that is bullet proof. I have the for all my glocks, 1911’s and HP’s. For deep concealment, look elses where, but for range, competetion and general carry - They are GREAT!
