I don’t know it still seems they don’t quite understand that crimanals and felons usaully don’t get their firearms legally as the law does not permit it anywhere, yet they still have the highest gun crime rate in the U.S… I guess once you ride the short bus you always ride the short bus!

I really do not see how any educated person could come to that conclusion. The bill was designed to prevent handguns from being lawfully sold in DC, and to disarm law-abiding citizens from having them and rifles or shotguns, in their home, in a ready-to-use state. It is an overwhelming success in that regard. It was NOT designed to do anything more, or anything less.
