Got my first slide mill back today from Battlewerx. I’d been leery of such things as I figured it ruined the metal treatment. I never realized they offer a nitride refinish.

That looks clean, like factory. I have been kicking around the idea of getting my G21 milled for a while now.

The nitride is blacker than the original. A guy on Glocktalk said the nitride from whomever Battlewerx uses holds up better than factory.
The new DLC on my Gen 5s is better, but this finish looks great to me.

Just shipped a G35 gen 4 slide to Alpha Shooting Sports in Anaheim, CA. $212 round trip for RMR cut for my 507 Comp, Front serrations cut around the slide logo, and Nitride refinish.
Slight difference in the screw hole machining from Battlewerx who threads risers they leave in the cut. Alpha taps down into the slide from the bottom of the cut.
