I have an extra G19 Gen 5 slide. I have a G17.5. I want to have the G17 frame cut back like a 19X or G45 for the 19 slide. Then sell the G17 complete upper.

Who does this work?

No. It’s a G19 frame internally with a longer grip.

Okay, My worry is NOT the grip, My need is to cut back the front of the frame from G17 to G45/G19x length and place a G19 slide on it

Cut here on a G17 frame, make it a G45 frame

You can’t run a 19 slide on a 17 frame. The locking block is different for one.

You’ve been told multiple times. The slide physically won’t interchange. Cutting the dust cover isn’t going to make it magically work.

YES, That was the 17 Gen 5 update. Same locking block as the 19.

I think you’d find it cheaper to buy a Glock 45 and sell your G19.5 slide and G17.5 pistol. And I would guess that nobody lists such work for this reason - and I don’t think anyone else wants the work done to their guns.

True, I found a G45 lower on GB, since I asked this question, that would work also.

Thanks for the information. Headed to LGS to PU my G45 complete frame. Apparently it is an MOS takeoff.
