I’ve seen the above holster for sale on various websites over the years (including the linked Glock site). Presumably somebody’s buying these things although I’ve never known anyone who owned one.
I’ve heard it called the “plastic bucket”, and I guess if you just needed someplace to park a Glock it would work.
Anyone know if any police/military anywhere use this holster?
I think they’re more popular with Glock-carrying agencies overseas.
Why? I don’t know, but my theory is that the US probably has a much bigger holster industry than anywhere else.
Viennese police used them when I lived there - the regular police anyway. I don’t know if COBRA used them.
