Glock .40 S&W old extractors?

Does anyone know where I can get several older (non-dip) Glock .40 S&W extractors? I would like to replace the extractors in my Gen4 .40 Glocks with the older non-dip extractors and I can’t figure out where I can buy any. I tried Glockparts.com, and all they have are dip extractors. I also tried the Lone Wolf extractors, but they won’t let live rounds eject. Any lead on the old extractors would be appreciated.

Glock is updating the ejectors on the Gen4’s. Try replacing the ejector with the new updated version before you spend more on extractors.

I think I still have my .40 extractor out of my gen3 glock 22 that I took out when I converted to 9mm. I’m not sure if it is the “dip” kind. I’ll look for it, if I find it and it is what you want, I wouldn’t mind sending it out to you.

What is the current word on this ejector exchange? The last I heard was that they might come out with a new ejector and housing, but you would have to send the entire pistol back to Glock. The current gun I’m working on is a Gen4 22. I have a Gen4 23, which after installation of the White Sound Defense HRED, has worked fine for around 500 rounds. However, the HRED did not fix the 22. It still has the occasional ejection right at my face, and almost all empties eject just past my right ear. It is the most current version, as it has the correct (for now) recoil spring and the “dot” connector.

Any other help would be appreciated.

I would call Glock about it. Tell them your issue, tell them you heard about a new ejector and see what they say.

Usually, they will reply with: “Find a Glock armorer who can receive and install the part, or ship it to us on your own $” However, this instance may be an exception if you push it a little bit.

I have only seen 1 updated 40 cal pistol and a couple of updated 9mm pistols with the new Gen4 ejectors.

I have heard… that the Gen4 brace-to-the-face issue goes away on some guns after the new ejector and that ejection is more forceful and positive.
