GLOCK 23 QUESTIONS

Hey so a friend of mine just got a NIB glock 23 and she wants to get a set of pink grips for her new toy. Wanted to know if anybody had any idea’s??? Where to get some

Glocks don’t have replaceable grips. The grip/frame is one piece of polymer. You can get rubber sleeves (eg. Hogue), but if you want a pink grip, you’ll need to buy a can of Krylon.

I know that they don’t have replacable grips but I have seen slip on grips wanted to know what were her options were. I.E. duracoat or slip on grips or whatever

The only sleeves I’ve seen are Hogue and Agrip and I haven’t seen a color other than black or tan.

Painting is probably the best option. Krylon Fusion, Duracoat, Guncoat, etc. Just make sure you choose someone who knows what they are doing. I’ve seen some really screwed up paint jobs on Glock frames that weren’t properly prepped.

See if you can find some pink inner tube or rubber bands. Or cut some pink grip tape to cover the grip panels.

Or convince her not to …

(says I, whose wife loves her M&P9 JG)

Tell her to trade it in for an M&P40. Its a better gun and you can get pink back straps for it.

Fuchsia - it’s all the rage in pistol grips.

Find a certified duracoat finisher and have them coat it pink. I have had several items done by my local finisher. It looks much better than spray paint, and lasts forever.
