I’m’ looking for an OWB holster for my Glock 17 w/ X300 attached. Anyone have something they like?

A friend of mine runs his G34/X400 in a Raven Concealment Systems Phantom holster with good results, but the RCS wait time is still something like six months.

ETA: I run a RCS Phantom with my G34 as well (no light though). Great holster.

Raven for the G17 with the X300 will take care of your need. I carry my M&P full size with the Streamlight TLR1 light in one. It’s very comfortable and secure.

One more plus for the Raven. I have 2 for my G21 with the x300, one set up for OWB and the second for IWB. Great holster, and great service. You’ll have a wait on your hands, but it’s worth it. If you don’t need concealment then you can try a Safariland. I got lucky and one of the cop shops had them in stock. It didnt work out for me, but it’s worth a try.

While it’s not a Raven this could tide you over until your Raven arrives. I find them to be excellent quality with a fair turn around time.

Long story short: I run PSS (personal security systems) and could not be happier. Product is solid and service is excellent…wait times are around 45 days.

Our lead times have never been six months. They are currently just under four months and are (slowly) getting shorter.

+1! They make a great holster, i really like mine.

I had a guy at a gun store, who had a kaluban cloak, say your wait time was 8 months. I chuckled at his ignorance.

Mine took just a few days over 5 months but it was still well worth the wait, great peice of kit.

I am not going to say you can t get a good holster outside of rcs but there is a reason there is a lead time quallity takes time. I am confadent that I have bought the right g 17 holster and I am sure I wont be needing another one for a long time.

Get a safariland while you wait you wont be dissapointed.

Raven Concealment is my favorite.

I don’t care how long they take.

Place an order with RCS and get yourself something for now, to hold you over for the wait. Then you could always sell it later or just keep it as a back up.

Also, there is a another member here (Seraph) that makes some really interesting holsters, Secret City Weaponeers. Take a look at the HK picture thread to see his work. DISCLAIMER - I don’t own any of his gear but I am going order one of his holsters very soon. I reached out to him with several questions awhile back and he was more than helpful answering all of them.

My apologies for overstating the lead time. My only point in mentioning the wait at all was if the OP had an immediate need for a holster (e.g. duty use, upcoming training class, deployment, localized zombie outbreak, whatever). I wouldn’t have recommended RCS if I didn’t think the Phantom was worth waiting for. The RCS design has spawned a legion of imitators, but I’m willing to wait for the original - and I am patiently awaiting shipment of my third holster.

I have been very happy with this Hideous Holster I picked up on eBay…only cost me $40 and 3 days wait :wink:
