Getting a Massachusetts Compliant G19 Back to Factory Spec

Over the weekend I was helping a buddy get ready for an upcoming pistol and carbine class (dialing in optic, check out pistol and holster).

Poor guy was from Massachusetts - he had a pre September 1998 G19. Off the top of the dude’s head, he said it was purchased in the mid '90’s.

The trigger pull was awful because the state requires that all guns sold by FFL’s have a minimum ten pound trigger pull.

The good news is that he can lawfully get the gun back to factory spec.

Apart from the trigger spring, is there anything else that should be replaced, like the connector?

Thanks!

A 5lb connector is what comes stock on most guns.

He could have lightened the trigger pull the moment he paid for it.

The stupid Masshole AG rules apply only to dealers. But then again, about 95% of gun owners there are so scared to lose their license that they dare not do anything even remotely controversial.

A sad place, really.
