Generation 1 or 2 Kifaru Navigator? What should I get?

I want the Kifaru Navigator. It seems to fit all my needs. The G1 is 200 dollars cheaper than the G2. Does anyone remember what the G1 Navigator used to cell for? Is there anything listed other than the minor changes on the site? Are they the same size, same strength? It says the new one has “loops for pods”, what is that? Is there any huge difference between the two generations? I will pay more if the newer one is stronger or more comfortable but if not I dont need the three minor upgrades.

Also wondering why does the Navigator cost 550.00 and the Express only cost 293? What does the Navigator do that makes it a lot more expensive than most of their packs?

I am also considering a Gen 1 express since they are only 180. Is the Ge2 express a lot better than the Gen 1?
Will the Kifaru Navigator do anything that much better than the Express?
