I have a 30 cal Quicksand. I had a couple of end cap swipes. I called Gemtech and explained this and they had me return it. I sent emails that were never returned, but the call did the trick. Key point, if you have an issue with Gemtech, call , don’t email.
Anyway, they acknowledged / fixed the offset. The can would sit slightly off center. You could look down the barrel and see it was not perfect. It appears the guts , mounting system was completely replaced. I’m stocked about it.
Now I am getting rid of the 300WM I had it on, so I might run it on my .223 5R bolt remmy gun. USE THAT CAN on my 5R and transfer it on my SBR. Or I might try to toss it on a SBR and see how I like it. It’s a big can but light weight.
Anyway , Markm or I will offer a range report and let you know how Gemtech did in fixing it.
