Geissele Trigger question

Hello M4carbine folks,

I have a MK12 Mod1 clone that has a RRA NM 2-stage trigger. A true crisp 2nd stage. I use this rifle mostly for 100 to 300yds.

Yesterday at the range the 2-stage became a 3-stage trigger!

I can barely feel the transition or break from the 2nd stage to the “new” 3rd stage.

Anyway, I’ll upgrade the trigger to a Geissele Hi Speed.

My questions:

  1. Is it really hard to adjust this trigger? Anyone have a link with how to instructions in order for me to read it before I place the order?

  2. Between the Service Rifle and the Desigmated Marksman Rifle, wich one better suits my application? I liked the RRA, wich one resembles more the RRA trigger pull?

Thanks in advance

Geiselle SR will feel closest to a RRA. The MR trigger offers a lighter pull.

No expereince with a Geiselle so I can’t answer how difficult they are to tune, but as I understand it each stage is independently adjustable via set screws. Bill will soon release a non-adjustable version that will sell for a quite a bit cheaper, somewhere around $150, so if you want to hang loose for another month or two, that might be an option. Check out the TOS for details.

While not really an answer to your question, here’s something you may want to consider.

I’ve been reading posts from the Adco guys about a new, upcoming trigger from Geissele… a non-adjustable duty-rated 2-stage. An added benefit (to most of us) is that it should be cheaper than previous models at approx. $150.

…just something to keep in mind.

Scooped by 2 minutes!

Just quicker on the trigger! :stuck_out_tongue:

To answer your question, the G triggers are easy to adjust (if you want). For me personally, I just use them as they come.

I agree with Grant. I purchased a service model and popped it in my rifle and left it as it came out of the package. There was no need to adjust it. Best 2 stage on the market hands down.

I can’t wait to try their duty model.

The duty model sounds quite promising. Cool.

I have their Match trigger on my SPR clone. Yes its an excellent two stage trigger.
