Just wanted to throw this out there before others run into same issue or can’t get there rifle to group. The Geissele low pro gas block barley hits the inside bottom of the handguard. And you are not able to run keymod accessories or rail covers under the gas block. I shaved a small amount of material off and the rail now does not press against the gas block. Geissele gas blocks have a little more meat around the anchor set screws then others. So if you have or plan on using the KMR rail, use a DD, BCM, or alike low pro gas block.
I just bought one for a 308 build. It looks pretty small. What is the ID of the handguard?
Mine measures 1.3505 on the mic. Running a BCM bfh 11.5 barrel, Geissele gas block and the 10 inch KMR. It’s only touching on the bottom by a few thousands of a inch. You can pinch the barrel and top of rail and it doesn’t touch. Install went fine and didn’t even notice until putting on my hand stop and took a closer look. This might not be the case for others but thought I would share my experience.
