My SSA did not come with any installation/maintenance directions or lube:confused:

manual for the dmr, but it has lube instructions at the end.

Are standard GI triggers supposed to be greased and oiled in this same manner?
Yes, your trigger set should be maintained as well.
Just make it part of your heavy cleaning routine. You know when you bust out the toothbrush and clean out the buffer tube, oiling / white grease the buffer spring etc…every other range session or so, your mileage may vary pending how you shoot.
Run and gun cleaning routine, just make sure no big pieces of brass, sand etc is in the trigger housing. a can of compressed air is great for range sessions. Slight shimmer, not runny oil; or light grease.
Look for wear, metal shavings that aren’t brass and check your springs.
The distributor I bought my SSA from just left the info and lube out by accident, but after contacting Geissele… Amy Geissele emailed me the instructions/maintenance info same day and shipped the next morning the other lube & stuff. Friendly, professional, FAST customer service with the only questions asked, " how can we help you now and in the future?"…I’m VERY impressed with them just as I am with their product:)
