SSA (two stage) Trigger Price: $195

Geissele DMR Rifle Trigger Price: $279

The Geissele Hi-Speed Designated Marksman Rifle Trigger is designed for tactical and military shooting where trigger pull weight is not regulated.

The Geissele DMR Rifle Trigger Pull Weights:

First Stage: 1.3 - 3 pounds (2 pounds nominal)
Second Stage: 0.5 to 1.5 pounds

The Geissele DMR Trigger includes all the Geissele standard features:

Lightning fast lock time
Separate sear adjustment for a sharp 2nd stage
Independent 2nd stage weight adjustment
Overtravel adjustment
Wire EDM cut sear surfaces for a smooth, precise pull

The Geissele DMR trigger combines the light 1st stage of the Match trigger with the more robust 2nd stage weight of our Service trigger. Perfect for all precision tactical shooting and squad Designated Marksmen, the higher 2nd stage weight helps in high stress shooting situations. Although the Geissele DMR trigger is not select fire the smooth pull allows an experienced shooter to fire at a rate exceeding 400 RPM which will empty a 30 round M16 magazine in 4.5 seconds.

Grant… you filthy tease. I saw “automatic trigger” & thought you had a F/A version… limited application I know, but would be nice for some

Your not far off. They are working on a FA version for SOCOM.

Any news on the single stage triggers yet?

Not Grant but I talked to Amy a couple of weeks ago and the delivery date has been pushed back until after the new year. They had a Military contract to fill on a short turnaround so the project got pushed back.

DMR’s are in stock!

Are these triggers “drop in”, or do they require adjutments before or after they are installed?

In other words, can us non-gunsmiths install one, if we have installed regular triggers before?

Pretty much. You may have to remove your selector to put them in.

You can either adjust them or leave them as they are from the factory.

Ah, that is what I wanted to know. If the trigger weights are adjustable, but pre-set from the manufacturer, that is good. I will need two.

Has to wait for next month though…the UBR wiped out this month’s fun funds.

'nother question: is the “single stage trigger” discussed above really the two-stage Service Rifle Trigger?

They do not make a single stage trigger so I am not sure what the discussion is about.

Any word on the non-adjustable version? Will you be carrying them?

Regards,

T.W.

They are on order, but no ETA.

10-4, thanks!

I have the FA Service Trigger and love it. Maybe the single stage trigger you are referring to is the FA version. In FA it is a single stage trigger. In semi it is a traditional, and very crisp 2 stage. These things are friggin wonderful triggers!

will the large pin dmr trigger drop into a 6920,or are modifications/new sear necessary to the complete install?

It will drop in.

As it comes factory-adjusted, are the set screws or whatever lock-tighted in or otherwise secured? I wouldn’t want it shooting loose.
