Has anyone ever bought or shot the Yankee Hill Machine/ ZM Weapons LR 300?
They are made here in mASS but I have never heard any talk of them on this sight or any other. Just weird that thay have been out for several years and I have heard nothing about them. How about anyone else? :o
You mean “gas piston” and it’s not a gas piston upper. It uses something really close to the standard gas system but it’s the recoil springs that are all goofy.
I’ve always like them looks-wise.
My neighbor has one, I have been able to fire it has less recoil than a regular AR. He knows the owner Zm weapons really well i guess and he claims it has less recoil and fires cleaner than a traditional gas system. I cant really back these claims up, i have never taken one down for cleaning.

They look cool but the feedback available is next to nothing and there is very little known about them. I wonder if some of it is due tothe lack of marketing? Would be nice to see some pics. You ask your neighbor to tell the ZM owner to join a board like this and provide some information or create a websight link to show the actual set up.

The ZMs are very very very old and are just now being made again…
There was talk of them a long time ago and they didn’t catch on due to price.
They were at least $2400 new IIRC.
