Has anybody ever set the gas rings to where all three spaces line up? Does the gun short-stroke? I keep forgetting to do this when I’m at the range.
Gas ring alignment will not affect function.
Agreed. When you push the bolt into the carrier, the rings get squeezed a little, and that gap gets smaller. Small enough to be negligible even when lined up.
Closed before it goes south.
