I think ya did good. LMT is good to go. I probably went back and forth in my mind between piston and DI as much as you did when I finally went with a PWS Mk114.
You really learn a lot in processing all attributes of the models you were considering. You will always feel more confident in your choice than someone who just slaps green down on what the guy behind the gun counter tells them.

It’s “The Hellboy Samaritan.” It’s a replica from the movie. It’s the most badass revolver I’ve ever seen and I couldn’t own a real one so I bought this instead. It’s made by a company called Sideshow Collectables. They took the gun from the movie and made an exact resin copy. It’s pretty cool, only problem is when I have friends over everyone wants to hold it. They made 1000 of them I got #0030. It’s BIG. Here’s what it looks like when I’m holding it:
