Just wondering how difficult it would be to take a 5.56 Galil and convert to 7.62? Is this even possible? I suppose 7.62x39 would be most desireable.
Is it feasible? What would be needed, other than a new bbl?
Is the magwell dimension going to be an issue? Is a 5.56 receiver a 5.56 receiver for LIFE, or can the caliber conversion be done?

It has been done, it’s not practical, and it’s expensive…
