This is why I choose 17,19,26 combo. Mag interchangeable is a big factor for me.
Yep, because those bullets wonāt hurt as bad as a hollow point
. Just shows how stupid gun control laws areā¦.
Not stupid, anti 2A laws work as intended.
I thought about for it 2 hours, I couldnt figure out the reason, then I realized the chick from mass thought a heat shield made a pump action shotgun shoot faster. I can not under stand logic of anti-gunners
They donāt realize the freedom to openly express a position for/anti 2A to the Government is actually tacitly protected by guns in private handsā¦.2A
There is no logic until you understand that every piece of legislation they get that makes owning and/or carrying a firearm more difficult or places any type of burden on the free exercise of the 2A is a win to them as itās leading a steady march towards their ultimate goal. Their definition of common sense is merely whatever they can get away with now, but intend to revisit in the future as the Overton window shifts further their way. No amount of evidence that this or that law doesnāt decrease violent crime (or actively increases it) matters to them as the end goal is the complete ban on firearms ownership. Everything else, no matter what they claim in public, is merely a step towards that endgame.
The anti 2A gang doesnāt like freedom of speech or any other freedom.
I concur. Iāve been carrying Shield mags since they came out and they have been flawless. I changed out all my carry gun mag releases to metal and all function fine with both Shield or Glock mags.
most of the folks who I see post negatively about Shield mags are NOT actual users, they āheard it online somewhereā¦ā
I have seven Shield mags I use for both carry, competitive, classes, and range shooting. Iāve never had an issue with any of them. I have a couple still in plastic.
I did have a friend who replaced his mag release with an aluminum mag release that failed but I think the release was crappy to begin with. I have a couple G43Xās that still have their plastic OEM release and they work fine, but I donāt shoot them much. My carry G43X (since 2017) and my G48ās all have Shield mags releases that work great with all mags.
Because they are a poly company that makes poly mags that take up more space than metal mags.
If itās a Glock - Mec Gar collaboration, then I expect black coated metal magazines. I am currently using half a dozen 18 round MEC Gar mags in my G19/17 and Staccato HD and they are also flawless thus far. I like them much better than stock Glock or Magpul, due to the coating and weight.
I especially like the slime green follower as it is very easy to see through the witness holes.
The 15 round mags sold out most everywhere fast but GT Distributors has them in stock at the lowest price Iāve seen. I ordered a few to try out and they should be here Friday. Iāll report back once I give them a good tryout.
I got the magazines today and took them out back for a tryout. They loaded up about as easy as a regular 10 round magazine, which is to say the springs are a little stiff. I put a couple of boxes of ammo through them without a single hiccup. The mags also dropped quickly and freely. Verdict- Glock should have done this years ago but better late than never. Hopefully they start this with more of their pistols.
Thanks for posting. Iām waiting for my backorder to be shipped. I knew they were going to be a little longer but whatās your take on the additional length sticking out the grip? Thanks.
The difference seems to be very negligible so I donāt mind it at all. If you want them sooner GT Distributors has them in stock for $23.99 and they ship fast.
Thanks.
I preordered mine from The Glock Store in early April and they are still not here. And I paid $29.99 ea. Maybe Iāll see if I can cancel.
Thanks for the update.
I heard Glock made some changes on new G43Xs to address the āstickyā magazine issue with the 15 rounds magazines.
Where did see or hear about the changes? Iām not finding anything about it. Thanks.
Online on a couple of forums.
