I was thinking possibly of going with the LWD aftermarket slide as I wait for my replacement. The general consensus I’ve read so far is that they are of good quality and money. My question is, what do they offer over the OEM slide (besides the front serrations, melted front edges), and is the stock OEM Glock barrel 100% compatible (ie: no fitting issue?) I ask about the barrel because I have yet to see a Glock with LWD slide coupled with the OEM barrel.
My G19 will continue to be a hard use and primary CHL tool, so I just wanted to know the cons (if any) to the LW slide before I decide to go with one or not.
