Thats a very nice set-up. What about the same thing with a non-SS barrel? I’ve heard the life of SS barrels isnt nearly as long as chrome lined Gov. style barrels. I’d like the same set-up not as a fighting gun not really a long-range SMR.
We can do that as well. The only issue is that quality chrome lined barrels are hard to get these days.

Yes. Noveske will be making a quality chrome lined barrel, BCM should start to push barrels out in the Fall and we should have another source through a major manufacturer for 4150 1/7 twist barrels.

Grant do you have a weight for the 16" SS barrel? Basicly does it compare to an HBAR or hopefully lighter?
Barrel weighs in at 2lbs 3oz.

What barrel would you reccommend using a Larue upper receiver (non M4 ramp).I’m looking for a match barrel to shoot out to 300 yards.
Really cannot think of any that don’t have M4 Cuts. Do you already own the LT Stealth receiver?

It can be. You just have to watch for any issues.
For barrels, I would go with a Noveske or Loather Walther.
