I play airsoft and have the G&P UFC 552 holographic sight in the link below, has anyone used these on the real steal AR’s and if so, how did they do?.
I plan on testing it out on my AR15 M4, but that wont be until a couple of months from now.

I don’t think you should be putting toys on guns.
actually, ive done airsoft for about 5 yrs now, and not only is it great for training purposes but the equipment and accessories many of the airsoft gear companies sell is high quality stuff.
BUT… i wouldnt put any sight desinged for an airsoft or bb gun on any real rifle. mainly because i doubt they could put up with the recoil and hold there zero.
but other accessories are built to almost exacting sizes and use similar materials as some of the main manufactures as the real steel counterparts.
for example, this copy of a plate carrier is very well build and made of excellent materials.

I’m an airsofter too with the same username on ASF, Arnies, AR-R etc. but I haven’t been to those forums recently. I have quite a few AEGs and gas pistols. But I still stand by what I said, I wouldn’t put toys on my guns.
Agreed.
Gosh I hope you really don’t believe what you just wrote…![]()
Well I’m not going to pay 500 something dollars for an EoTech, so could anyone recommend a good holographic site that wont break the bank?.
We aren’t going down this road as it has been traveled before. If you want to play airsoft, knock yourself out. Airsoft stuff has NO BUSINESS ON A FIREARM AT ALL! If you don’t want to spend money on a quality optic, no problem just use iron sights.
