Went to the Ft. Worth Gun Show today…
Cheapest ammo I saw selling was Brown Bear at $80 per 200. Was happy to find a Levang Comp for $39.99 (got tired of waiting for Brownell’s to get back in stock.) Magpul Trigger Guard for $19.95 (See previous Brownell’s parenthetical.). Company had a single bolt remaining selling for $59.99, no MP marking, but salesman assured me it was CMT & MPd, it just wasn’t inscribed on the bolt. The body looked too rough compared to the other one I own I know is CMT & MPd. Didn’t buy it. Saw PMags being sold b/t $20-$29. Pretty good supply of them. Several LPKs most $79.99-$99.99 (DPMS) & one LPK for $69.99 (maker unknown on my part, but claimed to be CMT by seller; of course nothing on the bag to show it.)
On an aside. Saw a couple of CZ-P01 9mm NIB for $580. Nice looking pistol & a pretty fair price in my opinion. Looked & felt real nice.
Ate at Texas Roadhouse afterward and had some good pulled pork in honor of the Swine Flu. I almost hurt myself eating! Forgot that I also got a Pork Eating Crusader patch in honor of the Swine Flu too.
