I was Skyping with my BIL who’s stationed at Hood when this came up on the news feed. He’s safe at home though
Holy shit, I just turned on this news and it is all they’re talking about.
I contacted some friends at Hood and they haven’t received word as to what is going on. They are doing 100% accountability.
Thoughts and prayers with those injured. Hopefully none of which are critical.

I think it’s precautionary but Central Texas College is being evacuated.
Just heard that DUSTOFF is pre-flighting for possible missions. That doesn’t bode well. Hopefully the Airfield is locked down. The news just said that there are 18 ambulances on post and the shooter is still at large. This is why Soldier should be allowed to carry.
SWAT is on scene now and they are reporting that the incident started in a medical support building.
Now they are reporting that they are evacuating Darnell Army Medical Center. This may turn out to be huge if this happened at the hospital.

Listening to the guy claiming to be on site hiding out right now. If he isn’t full of crap then it sounds like it could be a bad situation.

The local news just reported one dead and they are having a standoff with the active shooter in a building.
It is SLC now and the NCO Academy is nearly a mile away. Local news is reporting three dead now.
Enough with this crap , put him/ them down already.

What else can they say? It’s not like their going to validate it as being terrorism even if the motives are blindingly apparent.
