My wife told me I could see about purchasing my Christmas gift. I was looking for a good quality upper to go with my RRA lower.
Does anyone, anywhere have anything in stock? I had my eyes on a Sabre at PK this AM and someone bought it out from under me. Snooze you lose, I guess.
LMT, BCM (dreaming), Sabre - something, anything, anyone know who may have one? I’m not even fussy, 16", 14.5" mid or carbine, don’t care.
If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

I just checked a couple of days ago. One thing for sure, you can’t be too choosy right now. Either pay a huge premium and pick up your favorite from someone looking to make a tidy profit on GunBroker, or choose from whatever you can find and don’t take more than a couple of hours to decide once you find something. Or, wait a few months for the dust to settle and take your chances.

Grant just posted these custom uppers, might want to check with him to see if the other two still available.
BCM is expecting to complete another batch of middies come mid-Dec. Recon the BCM and G&R website as often as possible. Not sure if Denny’s got a quota last batch.
Those are some nice uppers - but I’m looking for a KISS rifle for this build, no rail. It’s going to be just handguards and a carry handle.
The DD build is temping though … must … resist … temptation …
Has anyone ordered directly from LMT? Their web site does not indicate any backorder or anything … just that they try and ship within 5 business days for in stock items, but no stock status is indicated.
I’m sure there must be a lead time … I’ll call them in the AM and see what it is.
EDIT - someone’s putting together a group by at SIGForum and they are saying up to 14 weeks.
I order from LMT directly and as of last week they are 10-12 week back order on uppers. I ordered two with an expected delivery date of 6 Feb 09.
