Front trigger assembly pin rotating

I recently noticed that the front pin of my trigger assembly rotates back and forth approximately 90 degrees from when the rifle is cocked to when it is fired. Is this normal and does it need to be fixed? So far I haven’t noticed any issues with the rear pin, just the front. Help?

It’s normal. There is a small wire retaining spring in the hammer that bears upon the pin center groove to keep it from drifting out.

Indeed. That’s what it’s supposed to do.

But many a retard have spent money buying anti rotational pins to stop this from happening.

The front pin is the hammer pin, and it rotates due to the friction of the retaining spring within the hammer.

It’s fine.
