Quick question…
I want to install a bottom sling swivel on my colt m4, I have a swivel and rivet style pin from an m16a1.
Do I need to do anything special with this pin? Do I need some mystical tool? I haven’t come across this before!

Just in case anyone searches:
Use a small ball bearing or bb to flare the ends, then a large flat punch to flatten them. Very easy.
