Front sight & flash hider

I have a Rock River Entry Tac. and will replace front sight. Which way does the flash hider turn clock wise or counter. Thank you.

Looking down the barrel to the target it would turn counter clockwise. Looking towards the buttstock it would be clock wise.

Are you taking it off or replacing it?

I’ll be installing a new gas block. I did try removing the 2 pins that are
holding the sight inplace. Tried driving them out but no luck.
