Is it common to have to adjust you’re front sight when zeroing? I have a BCM middy with a Troy BUIS, so there is no elevation adjustment. I’m between 4-5" high at 100yrd’s, so basically I see no other option.
Is this considered to be a down fall to the type of BUIS I chose?
Not unusual, in fact it is required, to adjust the front sight for elevation. With most BUIS, and even fixed factory carry handle sights, elevation is always set via the front sight.
