What would you guys suggest? WOA? Any recommendations?
This LPK is needed to finish out a buddy’s 14.5" LMT build. His lower is a stripped Charles Daly that will be sporting a BCM mil-spec stock kit and a Geiselle SSA trigger.
Try Grants lower part kit at G&R Tactical www.gandrtactical.com when he has them in stock. The safety and the bolt catch were from LMT in the kit I recieved. Bad part is his kits are known to be high quality so they sell out fast when he has them instock. You can order his lower parts kits with out a fire control group. If nothing else get a parts kit from CMT/ Stag and dont use their fire control group.
Have you checked with Specialized Armament Warehouse (SAW Sales)? I think Colt qualifies as “decent”.

that is an understatement.
last night i was comparing Grant’s LPK kit with similar offerings from DPMS and CMMG.
just visually, Grant’s kit was very different (quality didn’t even compare).
i’ll post pics later.
Yeah, I’d prefer to use Grant’s LPK, but I don’t think he’s gonna have any in stock anytime soon. I used one in my BCM middy build that is still in progress and certain parts did look better than the CMT/Stag parts I’m used to dealing with.
As for the Colt components, I’ll tell my buddy that we could source each part from Brownells, but that it’ll be pricey.
I’m also going to check into whether Stag offers individual components of their LPK.
