Has anyone heard of these guys. I did a search and couldn’t find a thread here on them. Just curious about what there cartridges are like the .40 S&W are real cheap. Case of 1000 JHP NEW[$289.00] not including shipping. The 5.56 is decent also. Case of 1000 Reman. [$299.00]. They have others but his is the only 2 that concern me right know. Any info or opinions would be appreciated. I read this on another forum I belong too.
This company’s ammo inventory and web site seams to be very similar to USA Ammo who recently had all the AR Kaboom because of bad product.
I wonder if they are connected in some way and if so I would highly recommend not buying from them.
Edited to add that this company did supply USA Ammo with ammunition until March 2011 so it is possible that the AR Kabooms with the bad ammunition were manufactured at this company.
Its hard to say if USA Ammo switched suppliers because of the AR Kabooms or they found a better deal from another supplier. If anyone has the manufacture date on the recalled USA Ammo which was responsible for the AR KaBooms then it would answer the question if this manufacturer was involved or not.
They are local for me. I bought reman .308 155 Nosler CC for $12 a box and is very accurate in my MA-Ten .308 build. I also have shot there .40S&W and .223 with no problems.
Had a long talk with one of the owners at http://www.freedommunitions.com/ and their ammo maybe GTG if the information he gave is accurate. I’ll try a case and report back once done with some opinion.

I was hoping that the company was going to do well – not only do I want to see shooting sports companies thrive, but it appeared that they had a pretty well-priced product.
Hopefully they will be able to tighten up their QC and continue.
Well I’m 1k rounds of 9mm blaster deep into my order and I have had no failures and respectable accuracy. I’d say this ammo is comparable to federal champion or wwb but seems to be loaded just a little hotter.
I like it, I’ll continue to buy it, unless there are well documented kb.
I will update my post in this thread with some real world experience. I purchased 500 rnds of their 62 grn re-manufactured stuff. It took close to 2 weeks for delivery but the ammo came well packaged. Immediately went through each box and looked at each round… and found nothing out of the ordinary. All primer’s were in the right way :rolleyes:, some minor dent’s in the case(nothing that I wouldn’t reload myself) and OAL was pretty uniform. Took 100 round’s to the range and all went bang, accuracy acceptable and the bolt would hold open on the last round. I was satisfied with the performance and would buy more. I would not use this ammo for anything other that practice and/or plinking.
I’ve had good luck with them.
Bought some .40 S&W from them about 3 months ago. No issues whatsoever with that ammo. Never had any issues with their ammo actually.
I just went through 500 rds of 45acp, 500rds of 556mm and just over a 1000 rds of 9mm blaster. Small numbers I know but I haven’t had any issuses at all.
I was surprised to see a couple posts on FB of various competitions sponsored by them. Lots of ammo and apparently no problems, but every time I see a kaboom thread (2 recently I think) I think of them. No one ever posts what ammo they were shooting, only that it was a major reloader so kinda hard to say.
