Damn It!!! I ordered a N4 shorty upper three days ago. Figures.
I got in on the deal last time. I was suprised at how nice the lower was. Great deal. Blems are barely noticeable.
I had to search long and hard to find any blemishes on my lower.
This is a great deal if you can jump on it.

I’m in the same boat. Will they sell you one at a good price if this is the case? (I’ve emailed Noveske with the same question, btw.)

Perhaps I’m wrong, but did their prices go up on uppers real recently? I feel like they had an 14.5" n4 upper option that was sub 1.3k
Is there something up with Noveske’s prices? I notice the N4 carbine basic upper at only $860 yet the lo pro at $1,400? So that puts the N4 light the same as the Afghan? Maybe my memory is shot.
Either way with the N4 basic you could be into it @ ~$1,000 which is a great deal, IMO.
That’s a badass deal. I don’t regret my DDM4 upper from BCM and a few lowers from SI Defense for Christmas, but if I’d had Noveske money, I would have love to have jumped on an N4 Light upper and a free lower instead. Every Noveske I’ve ever seen has has been a beautiful gun(and the two I fired were very accurate) so I can’t imagine their “blem” lowers are ugly.

The N4 Light Recce Basic 16" Upper went down $100, now $875.

I wish i had the money to get this deal. im looking at order/building an Ar right now, but i dont have the funds for a Noveske… 
Man I really want to get the N4 Light shorty basic upper for 875, but everybody I know that owns guns and would store it while I get the lower approved already has an AR15. I figure I could build an SBR with that upper and the free lower for like 1200 plus the tax stamp.
Right on. I picked up the basic upper with the free blem lower and all the parts to flesh it out for $1122. I’ll still need an optic, but damn, that’s cheap for a high quality rifle.
Yea I figured getting grant’s complete LPK thats like 85 bucks, an MOE mil spec stock kit for like 150 and a MIAD grip for 30 plus the $25 transfer plus the upper for 875 and I come out to 1165 for a bad ass gun. Then the 200 tax stamp(plus 30 for the C&R and 50 for the corporation I have to have for class 3 in Missouri) and I am at 1445. The only other thing I would add eventually(besides an optic) would be some kind of rail like the DD M4 9.5 carbine rail.
is the N4 Light Recce 16" Upper W/SPR/M4 (PINNED) a 14.5 with a PERMANENTLY installed FH?

If I’m not mistaken the Recce is the Midlength model and is 16" long without any flash hider.
