What is a good free float handguard that will fit on my PSA .308 upper?

I have the MI SS keymod version. It is nice but I would really like to see a BCM KMR come out soon, I like them better.
I used a UTG Pro Slim 13" rail. Price is right at under $140 and its a great fit to my Aero Precision M5 receiver set. It’s a DPMS high profile rail. It comes with everything you need and you don’t have to time the barrel nut for the gas tube. I think it’s worth serious consideration as you get a lot of value for the dollar. UTG’s quality is very good. Hopefully the rail snobs won’t flame me but $200+ is just too much money for a rail system.
Are the barrel nuts the same as the 5.56 guns?
I did not measure mine but I don’t believe they are. I think they have a bigger diameter.
The barrel nut is a different diameter/pitch.
The PSA is a DPMS low profile upper receiver. Any rail/barrel nut combo for that should work, though a few people have mentioned problems fitting rails with locking tabs like Samson. The MWI seems to be a common choice. I did not have enough use out of mine to make a judgement. However, I am generally wary of any rail using the clamp type attachment system.

Same here. Mine went on with no drama, looks good, I like it a lot. The main effort was in chopping the front sight base to make a nice pinned low profile gas block.
I also just went with the MI keymod 15 on my lr308. Found it on sale for a price I could not say no to. Overall I am happy with it though its not as nice as most of my 5.56 rails. The SLR 16 looks like it might be a good option as well.
Both rails can be had in dpms high and low profile
i went with the Wilson Combat Trim Rail. We’ll see how i like it after shooting it.

AR15: 1-1/4"-18 TPI
DMPS 308: 1-7/16"-16 TPI-2A
AR10: 1-7/16"-18 TPI-3A
What info/ opinion is wrong?
