i have been using a Magpul MS2 for the past few months and i really like the versatility of it. However, after several transitions to my secondary and long hours of carbine classes… i feel like i’m being cut on my shoulder area. So i finally decided to create a frankenstien sling…

I like what you did. You added versatility to the VTAC and comfort to the Magpul. I might have to try something like that. My VTAC sling was always confortable, but I feels like it lacks something.

I just did the same after seeing one done like it on LF. What material are you using to wrap-up the extra length of sling? I dont feel like cutting the extra material off in-case I decided to go back to running a 2-point someday…

Hey SKULL when it is in 1 point form does it tighten up as much as the Magpul MS2 alone did? I tried that once with another sling and MS2 but it was loose when I put it into the 1 point setup.
I got mine to cinch up as tight as the MS2. I had to do quite a bit of adjusting though. Works like a champ.

Was able to get mine to cinch up as tight also and actually the quick adjust on the VTac works better.
As said above me you do need to do some adjusting to get it right.
Glad you made this thread skull. I now love my sling.
