Fort Scott Munitions 62gr. 5.56 "Brush hog" round

“Solid copper spun”… and such. I’ve seen almost NO reviews of this stuff, and the two I did find were both… “less than positive.”

Another gimmicky bullet, in search of a problem, or something worth using as a self-defense round, or…???

Sounds like it. I don’t know why anyone messes with the ass aches of solid copper projectiles. There is just ZERO appeal for me.

Solid copper has value in specialty situations like expanding subs for .300BLK for example. For .223/5.56 (really any high velocity round), they don’t seem to offer anything extra on top of normal bullet designs.

From what I’ve seen, absolutely this.
