Last I heard, something like 90% of the records have been released already. Mind you, Congress declared in 1992 that all government records surrounding Kennedy’s assassination “should be eventually disclosed to enable the public to become fully informed about the history surrounding the assassination.” But a part of that law also says that the release of these records can be postponed if their public disclosure would cause “identifiable harm” to military, intelligence, law enforcement or foreign operations.
In 2017, the Trump White House pledged to release all the remaining documents on the Kennedy assassination. But in 2018, he reversed course and delayed the release, citing national security concerns. Back in 2021, the Biden White House announced that a trove of remaining records concerning the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy will not be released as planned, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Archivist and White House have agreed that the full disclosure of these records will be postponed until Dec. 15, 2022.
The Biden White House has asked the archivist to draft a plan that will digitize the records and make the entire collection available to view online since more than 250,000 records have already been fully released, but many are only available to view at a National Archives facility in College Park, Md., near Washington D.C. I bet this will be a further delay on the release of records since they’re going to claim the digitalization will take time.
The end result is this… records will not be fully released.
I am not a conspiracy theorist. But, it’s weird we’re sitting around 60 years later and this stuff can’t be disclosed because it may harm foreign operations today.
Like, this is what gives credibility to concerns about transparency with the government at a Federal Level. What can’t we talk about and I’m sorry - America’s Commander-in-Chief was killed. God forbid this happen today but should my grandchildren still not get the details of that if it happened?
I mean - it is legitimately covering up details that America deserves to know. How is this a discussion?
This is honestly what concerns me about anyone being associated with Epstein never coming to light.
Anyway, I just say this to say - it’s an alarming thought that anyone associated with either of these controversies would not be held accountable and full disclosure not given to the United States.

If it was a conspiracy, you’d think they could have fronted the guy 80 bucks for a mail-order Garand.
In the interview the guy says in the 70’s they released that it wasn’t the Mafia, Cubans, or Russians.
What does that leave that we’d conceal for 60 years - you know?
He theorized it was internal and bad actors with Government connections.
If what he said is true - then we’re protecting our own and afraid to disclose that which is what generated my response.
How hard would it be “Frank, Jim, and Steve were mad at Kennedy for bay of pigs and not going into Vietnam. So they recruited Oswald and killed Kennedy. They acted alone and they are all sleeping with the fishes or were arrested, etc.”.
If they weren’t held accountable then everybody gets arrested that’s obstructed it. Real simple fix in my view.

These ridiculous conspiracy theories need to be put to rest. There is plenty of evidence that Oswald was the lone gunman and nobody else was involved. Period end of story. Just like how Epstein obviously killed himself during a freak camera outage. And how the coronavirus has been PROVEN to have been an infected bat at a food market.

Bluntly then, why did Clinton delay to 2017. Why did Trump say he’d do it in 2017 in 2018 and then changed his mind and now Biden is delaying. All citing national security as being at risk.
Those are facts. No gray area. That’s my problem. That’s three Presidents that have kicked the can after decades had passed when the items were originally classified.

ETA: What bugs me about Epstein is there’s apparently a list that was provided to the DOJ of people who were using his services on the island. That list has not been published and it seems will not be published. But we have a lady in prison for human/sex trafficking. She was convicted. That’s probable and justice is being ruled. But no one who she trafficked people to has been released. Not one person to my knowledge.
That’s like convicting the drug dealer but not the people buying the drugs but you’ve caught the dealer and have evidence to convict the dealer that he sold to people. Clearly they have enough evidence for a conviction.

At this point with all the witnesses that stated their testimony was changed. Witnesses disregarded and not Interviewed because their statement would contradict their narrative.

Most conspiracies prove to be incompetence on the part of the government or some attempt at political strategy. Lets remember this is the same government that couldn’t conceal a blowjob, the same government that couldn’t keep a lid on Iran-Contra and that is the kind of stuff they tried their very best to conceal.
If there was shocking unknown facts regarding the death of Kennedy or Monroe, if there was any alien technology at Area 51 or anything else along those lines, they wouldn’t have been able to keep in under wraps for even 10 years let alone 60. There are too many other interested parties from competing government agencies to foreign governments who would love to share our secrets with the world to pull off these kinds of conspiracies. There are too many wannabe Woodward and Bernsteins to keep anything like this out of the media and trust me Nixon did everything in his power to keep a very minor event like Watergate from coming to light.
The real conspiracies, the ones we actually managed to pull off were a CIA backed coup in Guatemala, A CIA drug smuggling operation that continued for about 10 years and things along those lines. That is the real world limit of our covert capabilities and you can read about both of them today on Wikipedia.
The very notion that THIS government, is capable of grand conspiracies that it frequently is credited with, is somewhere between pathetic and hilarious. The vast majority of this government is concerned with keeping their chair at the money trough and not getting caught when they do the stupid shit that people who can’t manage power and wealth always seem to do from trying to turn millions into billions with some illegal money scam from insider trading to ponzi schemes or they get caught up playing with the pedos because they thinks they are so powerful they can do anything.
Say what you like about the person, but Bill Clinton was a Class A power broker and the dynasty they were attempting to build was ultimately brought down by a chubby chick (Lewinsky) and a jealous ugly broad (Tripp). If the government was actually capable of whacking Kennedy and hiding alien spacecraft, Tripp would be taking up space next to Hoffa and Hillary would have been the elected President because the works were in place.
Not saying there isn’t corruption, it’s all over the place. Not saying there aren’t attempts to pull off shenanigans, but there is no cohesion and there are too many competing factions. Our government is less organized than the mafia was during the 1960s, the mafia actually managed to conduct business nationwide with a general consensus of the parties involved and had an impressive track record of keeping most of their shit out the the newspapers except for events like Apalachin or when some media clown like Gotti was running things.
I think this documentary is as close to being what happened as any other theory.
