Form 1 Pending

Status is Pending on 1/16/09. How much longer on average? I have a class I want to take it to Feb 21 and 22. and hope it get’s here in enough time to get the travel forms turned in and back.

My last one took 13 weeks, Mailbox to Mailbox.

I wouldn’t count on being able to take it to a class in late Feb. My last transfer for a SBR took 75 days, door to door. You may get lucky though. I’d estimate that you have another 4-6 weeks to wait.

My approval took 71 days via the Revocable Trust route. I would guess that going standard would add more time due to the extra hoops of flaming fire.

Got mine first Form1 back this Tuesday. It was 95 days from the day they received it to in being in my mailbox. Here is the time line on #1 and #2:

Received: Jan 20th 2008

I’m not going to count on it, but it would be nice. My guy said he could do the conversion in a couple of days and get it back to me. But doubt I would have time to get the 5320.20 turned around. Just figured it would be a little quicker since I just got my form 4 back in late November, it was exactly 12 weeks. I guess they just duplicate all of their efforts.

What are you converting? You’ll probably have your stamp in time.

I’d call ATF and tell them your situation if you get your approval in time. I’ve heard they’ll work with people on that 5320.20.87.WHOHUHWHATEVER form.

I’m converting an Arsenal 107- UR to a Krink. If it all works out I will call ATF about the form, if not I have something else to run. Just really wanted to wring this one out.

Cool. I’d give ATF a call if it gets down to the wire. I’ve heard guys say that the ATF just told them to drop it in the mail and don’t sweat it.

Or mayble they’ll let you fax it in or something. Good luck.

Got my form 1 today. So the Travel forms are off to ATF and hopefully will get them back by the 20th.
