For those interested in Biblical Prophesy... Michael Rood in Silver Springs, MD on MA

I am personally inviting any interested M4C members to an AMAZING TEACHING on Biblical Prophesy and end time events that will be unlike ANYTHING you have ever heard before. When I first heard this guy back in 2000 I was blown away and have never looked at things the same ever since. Since then he has been shown a VERY UNIQUE perspective on the times we now live and I do not boast when I say that this teaching may be unlike anything you have ever heard before, even if you consider yourself a well-studied Berean.

So take a short drive to MD (commie-state gun laws apply) and get a ROOD AWAKENING!

Has the secrets of Jeremiah's prophesy that Daniel sought an answer to (70 Shavuim) finally been answered?
Will the Third Layer of Daniel's prophesy (Daniel 9:24~27) get fulfilled in the FALL of 2010?
Will Damascus get nuked in the FALL of 2010, fulfilling Zachariah's "flying scrolls" vision?
Why is the return of the "Creator's Calendar" essential to understanding all of this?

Find out what Sir Issac Newton searched for throughout his entire life to no avail...

Everyone is entitled to their beliefs. I believe he is full of ****.

Interesting costume.

I’m interested in any kind of discussion of Biblical prophesy and End of Times, so long as the speaker doesn’t start making “predictions.” Almost half of Matthew 24 consists of warnings that no one can predict the time of His Second Coming.

Jesus said, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father.” Matthew 24:36 NIV.

Sounds a lot like Mr. Mood will be making predictions.

Jesus said, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father.” Matthew 24:36 NIV.

I think this guys is more old testiment than new - Hence Matthew doesnt apply to him. I had to surmize that from the outfit, but I could be wrong.

Either way, I am with you kry226. I’ll wait for his show on the apocalypse channel(formerly known as the history channel)

No thank you!! Life it way too short to worry about when something that is inevitable (the end of life as we know it) will occur. I try to live each day as if it was my last.

I don’t need to have some self-proclaimed “expert” or “prophet” to tell me that I should “Repent for the end is near!!” The fact of the matter is I really don’t care when an asteroid-sized Cosmic Que Ball is going to put our little planet into the corner pocket of life because there is diddly you and I can do about it.

You can keep that gloom-and-doom outlook and I will spend that day to paraphrase a song of Tim McGraw, “live life like I was dying.” JM2CW. :stuck_out_tongue:

As a friend of sorts take a warning, I’m not gonna spout gloom at you but when Jesus comes back, think which way your going. Up or down. I don’t obsess on end time prophecy cause I know what’s going to happen just not when, nor should I, could I, or would I ever know. But rather our jobs are to be prepared for any time, it’ll come in like a theif in the night. Oh and for any reading, beware people who claim to know when Jesus will come back, no one knows, it’s impossible and either they are mislead or trying to mislead intentionally. I’ll step off my soapbox now.

I was thinking just that, m4fun, when I looked into his (their) beliefs on the What We Believe page:

"We believe that Yahshua of Nazareth is the only begotten Son of the one true God, was born of a virgin, was anointed with the fullness of the Holy Spirit as the promised Messiah of Israel, died in place of all who break the covenant, was raised from the dead after three days and three nights in the grave, and received the Divine authority to judge and rule over heaven and earth. "

As for the Gospels, “We believe that the Gospels record the teachings of Yahshua [assuming Matthew, Mark, John and Luke] and detail the conflicts that ensued as he lived the Torah in a society dominated by a man-made religious system that contradicted the instructions in the Torah.”

Their stance is kind of interesting. They believe in the man we know as “Jesus”, but call him by his Hebrew translation, “Yahshua.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahshua

They don’t claim to be “Christians” or to believe in the Bible, but Torah, which is the Five Books of Moses or Pentateuch: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

It’s a very perplexing philosophy, and kind of seems like a “have your cake and eat it too,” belief system.

Wow.

I don’t know much about this guy, didn’t mean to advocate him in my previous post. I’ll have to do some more research on him, kinda sounds like he’s excluding some books to make a point on others, just for the record I just tried to call attention to end time in general:o

I follow no man when it comes to Spiritual things but I would read a summary of his views. I’m not sure if this would be the place to do so, though.

I was a pretty well-schooled beerian in my former life, but a “berean”? Thanks, but no thanks.

The fact of the matter is I really don’t care when an asteroid-sized Cosmic Que Ball is going to put our little planet into the corner pocket of life because there is diddly you and I can do about it.

Actually, with sufficient advanced warning, a minor imput can cause even a large asteroid to miss. Something like a well-applied nuke.

Will there be kool-aid?:stuck_out_tongue:

jk

Tomorrow night! Don’t miss it!

Here is a link to two charts that will help understand what Rood will be teaching on…

Daniel’s Three Layer Prophecy Graphs

As for his beliefs, check his web site, I don’t want to turn this thread into a religion debate…
If you find this stuff of interest, show up and evaluate what he teaches for yourself. It will be unlike anything you have heard before I bet…

He is just a TEACHER teaching things that have been shown to him as he studied the Scriptures. But there may be some kool-aid available… and some coffee too.

I’m with you there. That’s what I mean by living each day as if it were my last. I could die in my sleep or as soon as I wake up in the morning. I try to view tomorrow as if it were the end of time and live accordingly. But that’s just me and I am in no way going to tell people to live their lives in the same manner. To each their own.

Not to start an argument, but do we have enough nukes to deflect a sun-sized que ball?

Now back to our regularly-scheduled program.

Interesting, but for some reason I am more interested in the writings of Musashi, than Mathew.

BTW, I am within a few miles of the supposed location of the tower of Babel as I type this. Well, there are two supposed locations here. I also visited the supposed house of Abraham south of here at Tallil. There is a lot of Judaic Christian history in Iraq.

This is the old ruins of Babylon, with the newly built walls (by Saddam) in the background…

Well, in Luke Yahshua tells us to buy a SWORD if we do not own one… Musashi would find that agreeable…

Iraq is indeed a special place Scripturally and Spiritually…
It is hard to imagine what it was like only having crumbling stones and harsh desert in this day to look upon… but back then that desert was a very lush place… still a form of desert, but very lush and fertile…

Panmillenialism.

It all pans out in the end.

God wins.

Satan loses.

i have no problem with people making predictions. just because we dont know when the end will occure doesn’t mean it’s not fun to guess. there’s few things i love more than to debate prophesy. my problem is when it turns from debate to one person pontificating.
