Compact and light weight, the PHANTOM is constructed of CNC machined aerospace quality aluminum alloy and stainless steel. The initial expansion chamber is designed to minimize first round pop, and is tuned to provide enough back pressure to cycle a number of popular semi-automatic pistols without the use of expensive and complex recoil enhancing equipment. Users that wish to employ the PHANTOM on a submachinegun can request a 300 series stainless steel blast baffle to better mitigate the erosive effects of high volume full auto fire. The impressive dry performance of the PHANTOM (-32dB) makes it equally suited for sport shooting and tactical applications and can be easily increased by up to 30% by introducing a small amount (approximately 5cc) of water into the rear of the baffle stack. Like all AAC silencers, the PHANTOM features a stainless steel rear mount to prevent excess thread wear common with all-aluminum silencers.
