Something disturbing happened to me yesterday, and as a freedom loving American it pissed me off. I stopped off at the local Walgreen for a gallon of milk. An old black man came thru the door and got in line behind me. I noticed he was wearing a baseball cap with “Korean War Veteran”on it, I insisted that he go before me. While in line we talked, he told me that he walks a mile or so to buy his daily cigar. When it was his turn the cashier informed him that she couldn’t sell him a cigar, it seems he had forgotten his I.D. and she could not prove he was 18 years old!!! His reply was “I’m 86 years old”. When I told her that I would buy the damn cigar, the brain dead, pimple faced, $#$&# informed me that she could not sell to me because she believed I going to pass it to the old man who could be under age and that is not allowed. I demanded to see the manager and got nowhere. To hell with their milk, cigars, them and their commie !#$%! store. That old black man deserved nothing but “yes sir, no sir, and thank you so much for your service sir, and from the bottom of my heart I hope that turns out to be the best cigar you ever smoked”. Those ass#@%* will make great bureaucrats in the brave new world that’s right around the corner.
It seems collective stupidity is in and common sense is out. Everyday we see the fruits of liberal indoctrination, five year old children on terrorist watch lists frisked at airports, cruise ships docking full of tourists in Haiti while mass graves are being filled just a few miles away, Honor students being expelled from school for having an aspirin in there purse or worse a butter knife in their car or a three year old boy sent home for hugging a classmate. It’s a shame that the Shining city on the hill has become a sinking ship of fools.
That’s a shame. I would have told him to hop in if in my area and would have driven him to my local cigar shop and purchased several of his favorite cigars.
