Can I carry on armor? Anyone done it this way? I don’t want to check it especially since my hard case is not currently with me. Thanks

I flew with a opscore helmet in my carry on just recently. No issues.
EDIT: I should add that the same carry on also had a battle belt with a safariland als holster, pouches, flashlights, etc.

At least you might be able to buy it back on ebay along with video games, jewelry, cameras, and other stolen valuables.
I had mine in my checked bag. Side note, if you have a checked bag with armor, mags, optics, and other tactical gear, don’t include a jar of peanut butter and or Nutella in the same bag, they will for sure pull the bag and inspect it.
They probably will anyway if you have plates in there.
Usually fly with soft armor in a backpack, never had a single issue or question.
