I am building a 14.5 inch pinned barrel build and was trying to come down with the right flash suppressor. I think I have narrowed it down to 2, the Battlecomp 1.5 and the BCM Gunfighter comp. Which would be the best all around choice from these two? Advantages and disadvantages of both? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
Well, those aren’t really flash hiders.
As for flash hiders, I like the Blackout and would probably get another one if all my rifles didn’t already have muzzle devices on them. I will let you know what I think of the BCM comp after this weekend. It is sitting on my 12.5" and I will see if the concussion is too bad.

The custom build area is a place to show off/discuss and ask questions and get feedback about your completed custom build (this means a completed AR that is functional and already completed). If you are going to post pictures of your build, please post a complete picture not just your parts, partial lowers, etc…
Also, buying an upper separate and then a lower and throwing them together does not constitute a custom build. It would be nice if you took time to explain how you came to your decision and explain your set up. Thanks.
